Prospective students
I am currently open to taking on new students. I generally accept students who are interested in the geographic areas I have current projects and have language skills in those areas. My work is social-environmental so I expect prospective students to have an interest in both. I tend to work with students with proficiency in GIS, remote sensing, statistical analysis of household-level survey data, and spatial analysis/modeling (or some combination of those). Our department provides limited funded positions for the PhD program and I have some research funding on various projects as well. If you are interested please contact me with a current cv, a one page research statement describing your research interests, and a few sentences about what projects or areas you are interested in working on.
